In this video one (of many) visits to a Buddhist temple I made in Vientiane. In particular there are monks praying and blessing, and also worshippers bringing offerings.

Fer for breakfast

I had a few more meaningful experiences with local food as on the first day. Among all of them (featured photo) was the typical breakfast with Fer, which would be a beef noodle soup.

Some people I know would say boiled with uncooked noodles. Instead, I imagined Lieutenant Zenigada, the persistent opponent of Lupin III who was fond of something similar that is also eaten in Japan and other Asian countries.

Next steps

I am now in Vang Vieng where I will take a hot air balloon ride. While tomorrow I will go to Luang Prabang, the most beautiful city in Laos.
