My trip veers toward nature especially with the river excursion in Laos. I had planned a transfer on the famous Mekong, in the end I did it on the Ou River, which deserves for the name alone.

The change of plans also allowed me to do a little trekking in the jungle, and get a taste of some of the magnificent nature of this country.

The really strange thing about this trip

On one night in Luang Prabang, undoubtedly the most beautiful city in Laos, an incredible thing happened to me, which can only happen in these countries.

I had woken up at 2 o’clock obviously thirsty from the evening’s tasty pork barbecue.
Without even turning on the light; the switch was as usual distant; I didn’t even try to look for my glasses.
Tasting in the dark I find the water bottle to open, marked toilet and purchased in a store.
Puah!
It was schnapps!

Tomorrow, Cambodia.
