There are many things to do in Marrakech, so for my first time in Morocco I decided to devote 3 full days to it. I went there in March 2024 and solo. It was a destination that had fascinated me ever since I saw the famous film by Gabriele Salvatores.

I left on Easter Saturday in the morning from Treviso. I took the opportunity to arrive the night before and enjoy a nice ride with a friend with aperitivo and dinner in one of the most underrated cities in the Veneto region.

Experienced seat neighbor pilot

In the airplane being a big boy I always aspire to slim seat neighbors; therefore, I was initially delighted with the 13-year-old girl who happened upon me, who instead turned out to be an insufferable all-rounder. She sat next to her brother and communicated with the parents placed in the front, calling them by name. In particular she lavished her wisdom on flying airplanes, and from the height of what I deduced had been her only previous trip, she harshly criticized the landing. She was so knowledgeable that as soon as she touched the runway she turned on her phone, not knowing one of the basic rules and that is that for radio disturbances the critical moment is right on the runway until you have stopped.

I still haven’t gotten used to the fact that now in the world everyone is an all-rounder and expert who can judge and criticize anyone’s work.

Things to do in Marrakech, understand that the whole country must be visited

If I had any doubts, in my few days in Marrakech I became definitively convinced that Morocco deserved to be explored in depth.

I want to see the other major cities, but also experience the desert more. Morocco is a safe country with public transportation that works very well.
