The idea of going to Oktober fest by bus in Munich came to me a few days before, when I found out I had a free weekend, which was very unusual in those years and at that time; it was September 2012.
Anomalous company

The traveling companions I got back to go to the Oktober fest by bus, in Munich, were: a friend, a brother and his then morose; but mostly we joined an organized bus trip. Among our comrades were people who did this every year; those who did multiple weekends in different German cities, and for some that was the only vacation of a lifetime.
I proposed the idea that we should all be mustaches, in theory the other two agreed, but in the end only I was. I apologize to everyone but I associate the mustache man with 80s porn actors and they really make me laugh, so I felt like a buffoon for those 2 days.
Munich is a beautiful city, and fortunately I’ve had the chance to go there two other times and visited it quite well, but I felt like having that experience here as well.
Going to Oktober fest by organized bus

The trip was overnight; Oktober fest in the morning, one night and back, fun but it was really an absurdity. Going by bus, to Munich means almost 20 hours round trip. But to tell the truth it is also the only way to be able to say you had that experience without spending a lot of money and despite not having booked in time.
By the way, it was more of a bus ride to Munich than to Oktober fest. In fact, as it was the day it was being opened by the Burgomaster, the booths opened later; there were more people than usual, and because of so much rain, places were very limited because they were only indoors or under hardly waterproof tents. We managed to have a mid-morning mug under the water and then went downtown for lunch.
