Abnormal meeting place for a blind date

The most original place where I had a blind date was the inner courtyard of the castle one evening in Dublin. To be precise, we met under the flag of Finland. You may wonder if with an Irish or a Finnish, no, with a Bolognese. It was in May 2015.

We had been writing for quite some time, in my opinion we could see a potential understanding but she didn’t feel like meeting me because of family problems.

After a couple of months of silence she showed up again. At that time I was for original situations and since she was also of the idea of doing something special, when she told me she was going to Dublin to see a concert, also taking advantage of sightseeing, I came up with the idea of the blind date there.

I had already been there, but Ireland remained in my heart so much that I always fantasized about going there to live; I didn’t even have days off, so I devised the madness. One night in Dublin alone (while she was at the concert) and a day together with a return flight the next night (we slept in the airport).

One evening in Dublin, alone

In the evening in Dublin alone I wandered around Temple Bar, the pub district. I breathed some of that special air that only Irish pubs have, founded on beer and rock.

I had dinner in one of Dublin’s best-known pubs, at the counter next to an Asian man who had arrived before me. While I was wrapping up my steak, to him came a dessert made of ice cream and whiskey cream that was beautiful to look at but also delicious to eat. Unfortunately, he never knew because, after photographing the wonder, I guess he posted it and then spent at least half an hour chatting.

When I left satisfied, he had not yet grabbed the spoon and the ice cream was melted. The featured photo was created with artificial intelligence.

Ps with my friend we are still in touch and we have done more weekends around
