Casual encounters, often, sometimes crucial
Casual encounters sometimes last the time of a chat, sometimes a lifetime. They can arise on a train or during a tour, but also in restaurants. Once, when I frequented hostels, even there, now in hotels it is difficult. So this is one of the reasons why I maintain that trips that go solo are the ones that can give the most excitement.
- The Sultan of Oman, what to do in Muscat
- Life and death in the Medina – things to do in Marrakech
- Visiting Malta, I can still entertain in English
- I travel to Bulgaria, now I take the beating
- Dolomites in summer, the Swiss mountaineer
- Desert in Oman, tented camp and die Italians
- Getting lost in the woods, the 00 trail, between Emilia Romagna and Tuscany
- The palace of Knossos; hard to be gay on an ‘island
- Sleeping in hostel, they all run away from me in Copenhagen
- On your trip to Jordan, don’t miss Jerash
- Bathing in the Dead Sea and bidding a Dutchman
- Visiting Petra with playful stray dogs
- Blind date, an evening in Dublin (Ireland).
- Christmas in New York, the world is small even in NY parties
- Traveling the Via degli Dei, from Bologna to Florence
- Visiting Chiang Mai and falling off the bamboo bridge
- Visiting Angkor with Parisian lawyer.
- Weekend in Umbria, fog in the house and naked in the street
- Meeting people on the road in the island of cats
- Visiting an island in Thailand
- Tourist village in Egypt, a salacious cutback
- Solo trip to Thailand and the solo
- Visiting Tuscan islands, umbrella talk

Especially in the past I happened to use couchsurfing, now it seems to be a little bit on the decline, I hope it recovers because it was a fantastic system to meet locals.
