Accommodations: a few stars, a few barns
A few stars, a few stalls is my motto. While a brother of mine maintains that the ‘important thing is to have a door and a bed.
After all, if I want to take a lot of trips, I have to save money somewhere. Always my go-to site for reservations has been booking.
This is not an advertisement, but they deserve it for the times they have helped me.
- Travel mishaps, risk of sleeping under a bridge in Abu Dhabi (where there are no bridges)
- Visiting Dubai, reception in bed
- Desert in Oman, tented camp and die Italians
- Sleeping in dormitory, visit to Salzburg
- Visiting a Mayan site, with the guy always on the prowl
- Sleeping in hostel, they all run away from me in Copenhagen
- Weekend in Romania; not finding accommodation
- Going to Transylvania and getting robbed by the BnB
- Sleeping in Wadi Rum, with a Bedouin cat on your belly
- New York with snow, but terrible accommodations
- Getting sick on the road and in a bad hotel
